CHAPTER 1: Road of Regrets!
Darren M. Milestone walked sorrowfully and slowly down a sidewalk near a strip mall in St. Petersburg. He was in sorrow after remembering how his twin brother, Rudy L. Milestone, got a curse of never ending sleep. He arrived at a park and sits down on a lone bench. He sighs, the hood on his hooded, light blue jacket blowing off his head, revealing a sorrowful, sad boy's face. He let the wind blow through his short dark brown hair, which was down to the bottom of his neck. He heard two little kids - a pair of brothers - arguing about a thing that one of them had pushed the other. The redheaded one began crying, and the blonde haired one gave him an embrace, showing he was sorry! " I'm sorry, Big brother... " The other said, " Hey, no. It's not your fault... We both got in each other's way... "
Darren watched in sadness as the two brothers say they love each other and promising that they will never be separated no matter what. " We'll never be separated no matter what happens! " Said the younger. " Ditto, Lil bro... That's a vow that will never ever break... " Said the older, fist up in confidence. They both fist bump saying at the same, " No matter what! " No matter what... No matter what... No matter what... Those words echoed Darren's head, as he has a flashback of when he made the same promise to Rudy, when they were 10. The twins entered a contest by singing a duet. Afterwards, the two waited for the winners to be announced. Darren said, " I hope they announce our names, Bro. " Rudy said, worried, " Darren... We're supposed to be supportive to the other competitors! Mom says, " If you wish them good luck - they will be nice to you. " D-! " Darren wasn't listening, he was too excited. The winner was announced, " And the winner is - The Milestone Twins with their song, " Brothers Dragon "! "
That same day, Darren got a letter from a record company after downloading the song on YouTube. The song got millions of hits and the record company heard it. Darren wrote the song and taught Rudy how to sing. Darren was offered to go on tour with the song. But he would have to leave his twin behind... Rudy was upset that his twin would leave, but he was supportive. Darren then gave Rudy a promise that they will always be brothers - no matter what happens in the long run. Rudy tried to say a proper goodbye, but his father and his twin already left, leaving Rudy crying in his mom's arms. Darren felt his twin's sadness, but was too distracted by his father's and his own excitement! After Darren had snapped out of the flashback, a bad memory filled his head. He recalled that argument, as much as he wanted to forget, " Get off me, Rude! " Darren had yelled at his 14 year old twin, as Rudy grabbed his arm in his anger. Rudy yelled, " No! Why won't you listen to me?! I'm your twin! Don't you ever love me?! Or mom?! " Darren said, coldly, " YOU care for mom, Bro. I care for dad - oh wait - he left me to tour alone! "
The brothers started to fight with their powers, but just as Rudy was winning, Darren's anger got the better of him, and he blasted a curse, shouting, growling, eyes glowing black, " Grrr... Sleeping Dragon! " The next thing Darren knew, he heard a scream coming from Rudy, and gasped, as he watched Rudy being thrown through the wall of a TV station. Darren ran inside and sees a crowd of people surrounding something. Darren rushed through the crowd and saw Rudy, barely conscious trying to get up, but failing and falling to the ground, black light surrounding his body. " Rudy! " Darren held his twin's body in sadness and fear as Rudy slightly, weakly, and sleepily opened his eyes a little, saying as he falls to sleep and unconsciousness, " ... Brothers... No matter... What happens... Right, Darren...? " Darren said, tears filling his eyes, sobbing, " ... A - always... Bro... " Darren watched as Rudy's eyes slowly closed, as Rudy said, falling into the curse's arms, " ... I love you... Darren... " Darren gasped, shouting, Rudy lying motionless in his arms, " Ah! Twin Brotheeeeer! "
As Rickie, and Kate and the rest of the dragon humanoids take Rudy's sleeping form to someplace safe, Darren looked at his cursed twin being rolled away, in sorrow. He says, " Rudy... " He falls to his knees and cries out, crying, roaring loud, " - I'M SORRY! " Darren came out of his flashback, flinching, trembling, and then screaming, crying hard, " * shakes * AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Darren stopped screaming, and sees a people, staring at him with confused and concerned looks. Darren blushed, embarrassed, putting his black hood back on his head, running out of the park, crying. He was so angry with himself, " Idiot! Idiot! Idiot!!!!" Darren kept calling himself 'idiot' over and over again, until he tripped on a rock and fell into a puddle. He was so frustrated, he smacked the ground hard, repeatedly.
He wished he hadn't left. He wished he hadn't hurt his brother. He wished he didn't curse the only family he had left - since his parents were killed in a house fire a year ago. He wanted his mom to hold him! No - he wanted his twin to hold him. To be awake and with him. To love him, to embrace him, to keep him loved... " Rudy... " Darren fell to the ground after he said his twin's name. He said, with a passionate voice, as 5 figures ( Rickie, Kate, Melo, Marten, Logan ), gathered around him, as he fell unconscious, " ... Twin Brother. " Kate holds the unconscious superstar, who was unconsciously crying. " ... Darren. "
